An event workspace on Cambridge Open Engage is a branded landing page that brings together the scholarly outputs (slides, conference papers, posters and video presentations) from your academic conference or event, allowing attendees and other researchers to discover, discuss and cite these outputs both during and after the event itself. The site is fully open access, so outputs are accessible to any site visitor, helping you reach an even wider audience.

• Provides a home, with scholarly infrastructure and virtual collaboration features, for outputs during the conference – in turn, drives discussion, and encourages citations, views and downloads for your speakers
• Demonstrates the value of the conference once it is over, and gives conference speakers the opportunity to continue the conversation, and continue amending and iterating their work
• Long-term scholarly preservation of outputs from the conference
• In contrast with conference proceedings publication, offers outputs immediately to attendees, even during the conference itself
