It all starts with a question...

Research Directions is a new series of question led, open access journals that have broken free of the limitations of the traditional publication model to better reflect the research process.

Shaped by an expert subject community, Research Directions are defined through a challenging range of research questions. The resulting research outputs are broken down into discrete parts: Results, Analysis and Impact papers.

Research Directions provides a dynamic forum for researchers to collaborate, to debate and to accelerate high-quality open research in an accessible and transparent way. Watch our video to find out more.

All journals in the series operate under transparent peer review to further accelerate discovery.
