NOTE

1. Our desk-reject rate is comparable to that of previous AJPS editorial teams. Dating back to 2015, the annual percentage of manuscripts that received a desk rejection varied from 21% to 27%. The slow upward trend is far less dramatic than the 60% increase in sumbissions during the same period.
