UKIRT offers unique flexibility in the range of instrumentation available to study starforming regions in the infrared. Because of this many aspects of starformation are currently under study and the latest developments from UKIRT are reviewed. Work ranges from detailed high resolution spectroscopic studies of outflow sources to IRAS “follow-up” of molecular clouds and large scale starformation in normal and interacting galaxies.
