México depositó ante el Gobierno suizo, el 10 de marzo de 1983, el correspondiente instrumento de adhesión al Protocolo adicional a los Convenios de Ginebra del 12 de agosto de 1949, relativo a la protección de las víctimas de conflictos armados internacionales (Protocolo I), aprobado en Ginebra, el 8 de junio de 1977.
