Abstract

Si le risque de cancer du poumon lié à l’inhalation de radon est aujourd’hui largement reconnu, les possibles conséquences sanitaires de l’ingestion d’eau contenant du radon apparaissent moins bien documentées. Cet article synthétise les connaissances actuelles sur la dosimétrie correspondant à l’ingestion de radon. Les résultats des études épidémiologiques sur les effets sanitaires du radon dans l’eau de boisson sont également présentés et discutés.
