Information from cattle passports and abattoirs now make it possible to add breed type, sex category and age at slaughter to records of carcase weight, fatness and conformation. The objective of this study was to investigate relationships between slaughter age, carcase weight, fatness and conformation in crossbred beef cattle using Limousin X steers as an example.
