First record of Melicertus hathor (Penaeidae) from the Gulf of Antalya (Mediterranean Sea)

Abstract

Melicertus hathor was first reported in the Mediterranean Sea in 1999 and in 2002 was first recorded on the eastern Mediterranean coasts of Turkey. Melicertus hathor which is an immigrant species from the Red Sea was seen in the Gulf of Antalya in March–April 2005.
