Abstract

Experimental results such as nonlinear Landau damping, induced electron scattering and the stochastic acceleration of electrons are explained well by our intensity dependent theory which treats the interaction between beam electrons in the presence of ions. We also explain the mechanism for observing nonlinear waves by the time-of-flight of solitons.
