Acinic cell carcinoma of the nasal cavity: Electron-optic and immunohistochemical observations

Abstract

The fourth example of an acinic cell carcinoma arising in the sinonasal tract is presented. Because of its unusual and atypical histologic appearance, correct diagnosis required electron microscopic analysis and the demonstration of intracellular amylase by immunohistochemical stains.
