Utilisation D'extraits de Neem Dans la Lutte Contre Les Insectes de L'Arachide

Abstract

Several insects attack the groundnut, which is a major crop in Senegal. Sporadic attacks of Heliothis ( = Helicoverpa) armigera Hbn. and other insects have been recently noted. In order to reduce the pest attack, neem cake extract (1 and 3%) was compared with cypermethrin and a mixture of dimethoate and deltamethrin and gave satisfactory results. However, yield was not significantly increased.

Résumé

Plusieurs insectes attaquent la culture de l'arachide qui est une culture principale au Sénégal. Des attaques sporadiques d'Heliothis ( = Helicoverpa) armigera Hbn. et d'autres ravageurs ont été récemment observées. Afin de réduire les dégâts, l'extrait de fruits de neem (1 et 3%) a été comparé avec la cyperméthrine et le mélange de diméthoate + deltaméthrine et a donné des résultats satisfaisants, alors que le rendement n'a pas été significativement élevé.
