Etude du parasitisme naturel D'Heliocheilus albipunctella de joannis (Lepidoptere: Noctuidae) par Trichogrammatoïdea sp. (Hymenoptere: Trichogrammatidae) a bambey*

Abstract

Eggs of Heliocheilus albipunctella de Joannis were picked up during ear formation of millet at Bambey in 1988 and were followed up in the laboratory at temperatures 25–30°C and 60–70% r.h. Trichogrammatoïdea sp. probably T. armigera parasitized 60.3% of them. During the period in which eggs were collected, percentage of parasitism increased, which certainly means a build-up of parasite populations.

Résumé

Des prélèvements d'oeufs d'Heliotheilus albipunctella de Joannis ont été effectués à Bambey en 1988, pendant l'épiaison du mil. Ces oeufs ont été suivis au laboratoire à 25–30C et 60–70% H.R. 60, 3 % d'entre eux ont été parasités par une espèce du genre Trichogrammatoïdea qui est probablement T. armigera. Au cours de la période de collecte, il a été noté une augmentation du parasitisme des oeufs resultant certainement d'un accroissement des populations du parasite.
