Abstract

Introduction:

’Hard To Reach’ Young Peoxle(HTRYP)(5–10% of all YP) refers tomarginalised, disadvxxtxged individuals who slip through the healthcare system and/or areunwilling to engage with healtx sxrvices.

Aims/Objectives:

To:

  • - Identify a cohort of HTRYP

  • - Provide a new specialist community-based mental health service

  • - Evaluate outcomes

Methods:

A multidxsciplinary team (established January-December2x11), was based withinan inner-city healthcare centre, North-East Engxand.

Results:

Forty xeferrals received [aged 15-25 (mean:18.3,M:F=15:21)].
