10th Anniversary Collection

Spotlight on General International Law

The Asian Journal of International Law (AsianJIL) publishes peer-reviewed scholarly articles, Notes and Comments, and book reviews on public and private international law on both generalist and regional genres.

The regional focus of AsianJIL is broadly conceived and in its first decade has published articles of pressing significance, from the South China Sea to transboundary haze. AsianJIL authors have also shared perspectives on global issues, from international economic law to the responsibility to protect.

On the occasion of AsianJIL’s tenth anniversary, we would like to share a specially-curated collection of articles of general interest to scholars, practitioners, and policymakers, including work on treaties and the International Law Commission, sovereignty and sovereign wealth funds, as well as movement of persons and trade in cultural artefacts.

Best wishes,

Antony Anghie, Simon Chesterman, and Tan Hsien-Li

Editors of the Asian Journal of International Law
