The Government of the French Republic availed itself of the reservation set forth in paragraph 2 of the Annex, and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany declared that, for the application of the convention, any person who is German within the meaning of Art. 116 of the Basic Law of the Federal Republic is a ressortissant of the Federal Republic.
