Summary
This part introduces and explains some preliminary notions used throughout the book. The reader is assumed to have some basic knowledge of modal logics, however to a large extent this part of the book may be considered as self-contained. The main issues discussed are: expressivity, decidability and computational complexity of standard and non-standard hybrid logics.
