(c) ẏaēibiiascā. tōi. ā. yaēcā. aēibiiō. ā. aŋhən ∴
In this way we now worship
the cow's soul and (her) maker.
Now we worship our own souls
as well as those of the domestic animals
which desire to gain our support,
(the animals) for which people here indeed (shall be available)
and which indeed shall be available for people here,
yasn panǰom hād
(a) ēdar ēdōn yazom kē ān ī gōspandān ruwān tan ǰān dād ohrmazd
(b) ud ān ī amāgān ruwān ud paswīkān-iz kē amā zīwišn xwāstār hēnd nēkīh ā-š dād
(c) awēšān-iz ī tō ān ī artēštār awēšān kē hēnd wāstaryōš ā-š dād
Yasn, the fifth chapter
(a) Here, in this way I worship (the one) who created the cattle's soul, body (and) life, (namely) Ohrmazd.
(b) And our souls as well as (that of ) the domestic animals, which seek livelihood from us, (namely) beneficence, for he created (them).
(c) Also those who are yours, (namely) the warrior, (and) those who are husbandmen, for he created (them).
(a) daitikaną̇mcā. aidiiūną̇m. hiiat̰. urunō. ẏazo
(b) aṣ̌āuną̇m. āat̰. urunō. yazo kudō.zātaną̇mcīt̰. narą̇mcā. nāiriną̇mcā
(c) yaēšą̇m. vahehīš. daēnā̊. vanaiṇtī. vā. vǝ̄ṇghən. vā. vaonarə. vā
and (we worship) the soul
of the wild animals,
insofar as they are harmless.
Now we worship the souls of the truthful ones,
men and women,
wherever they may have been born,
whose very good beliefs
prevail, will prevail or have prevailed.
(a) daitīkān-iz ī ayārān kē ruwān ā-šān yazom
(b) ān ī ahlawān ruwān ēdōn yazom kū zādagān-iz narān ud nārīgān-iz
(c) kē awēšān weh dēn hēnd pad ēwkardagīh wānīdār hēnd artēštār ud windišn wanghān hēnd wāstaryōš ud weh mard hēnd āsrōn
(a) Also the wild animals that are helpers, whose souls I worship.
(b) In this way I worship the souls of the righteous ones, wherever (they were) born, male (beings) as well as women,
(c) who are collectively of the good religion, (who) are conquerors, (namely) warriors, (who) are earners, (namely) husbandmen and (those who) are good men, (namely) priests.
