Summary
In 1975, piggybacking on the game-changing sound of Bob Dylan’s fourteenth studio album, Blood on the Tracks, Columbia Records released a collection of his home recordings. Though the songs had already been circulating for the better part of a decade as bootlegs, the release splashed deep enough in the waters of mainstream music to continue rippling to this day.
