The issue of bullying is covered in the curriculum subject of PSHE, however as this is not just a school issue, the resources that offer information, advice and learning materials are listed below. There are a number of national organisations who are working with parents, teachers and educators to both support and empower children and young people to understand and reject bullying.

This is packed with information for parents, teachers and young people on every aspect of bullying, all of which is clearly presented and well organised. Excellent.
Anti-Bullying Network

The Anti-Bullying Network was set up by the University of Edinburgh in 1979. It has information on all forms of bullying with information for young people, educators, teachers and parents/carers. It includes printable information sheets and signposting to other organisations and websites. However, although the site is still available and the information sheets give good advice, the site does not appear to have been added to since 2017 and this should be kept in mind.

Stop, Speak, Support was developed by the NSPCC and the Royal Foundation Taskforce on the Prevention of Cyberbullying. It is aimed at 11 – 16-year-olds, who are ‘bystanders’ of online bullying. This downloadable school pack contains activities and resources for teachers to use with key stage 3 and 4.

Anti-Bullying from the Diana Award

The Diana Award Anti-Bullying campaign engages young people, parents and teachers to change the attitudes, behaviour and culture of bullying by building skills and confidence to address different situations both online and offline. The resources are fantastic, beautifully produced and simply require a request for the download.
