Researcher user guide

Organisation account administrators

Edit your account settings:

  • Upload an organisation logo
  • Configure an OpenURL


Manage institutional access & authentication:

  • Configure Shibboleth ID[s] and generate a WAYFless URL
  • Request additional Remote users


Bibliographic data: MARC Records

  • Download MARC records for all your institution's books, for individual titles or for specific packages or orders

Bibliographic data: OCLC control numbers

  • Download a list of OCLC control numbers for your institution's book records, so that you can request specific MARC records from OCLC


Bibliographic data: KBART title lists

  • Download KBART title lists for all your institution's content, for individual books and journals or for specific packages or orders


Book self service:

  • Launch self service mode, and purchase applicable content


Content requests:

  • View content requests from users at your institution
  • Enable content request notifications


Content holdings:

  • Download lists of content holdings for books and journals


Usage reports:

  • Specify a reporting period by date and download usage statistics in a range of report types.

Hypothesis is an open platform for annotation and discussion of web resources. Cambridge is partnering with Hypothesis to enable authors, editors and readers to annotate and discuss the research we publish on our platform, Cambridge Core.

You can use the Hypothesis annotation tool on Cambridge Core for the following content:
