    Animal Welfare is an international scientific journal. It publishes the results of peer-reviewed scientific research, technical studies, surveys and reviews relating to the welfare of kept animals (e.g. on farms, in laboratories, zoos and as companions) and of those in the wild whose welfare is compromised by human activities. Papers on related ethical and legal issues are also considered for publication. The journal also includes letters to the editor, opinion papers and commentary on topical issues such as developments in legislation and codes of practice relating to animal welfare, as well as book reviews.     Annals of Glaciology publishes original scientific articles and letters in selected aspects of glaciology-the study of ice. Each issue of the Annals is thematic, focussing on a specific subject. The Council of the International Glaciological Society welcomes proposals for thematic issues from the glaciological community. Once a theme is approved, the Council appoints an Associate Chief Editor and a team of Scientific Editors to handle the submission, peer review and publication of papers. Typically from one to three issues of the Annals appear each year. Since the publication of issue 1 (Use of Icebergs) in 1980 and issue 2 (Glacier Erosion and Sedimentation) in 1981, every branch of glaciology has featured in at least one issue of the Annals. Recent themes have included Glaciers and Ice Sheets in a Warming Climate; Ice Core Drilling Technology; Sea Ice in a Changing Environment; Contribution of Glaciers and Ice Sheets to Sea Level Change; and Glaciology in High Mountain Asia.

    Antimicrobial Stewardship & Healthcare Epidemiology (ASHE) is a fully Gold Open Access journal that invites submissions of original investigations that will contribute to the fields of antimicrobial stewardship and the prevention of healthcare-associated infections, as well as other areas of quality improvement affecting health systems, with the ultimate goal of improving healthcare safety. Covered topics include the following broad areas of interest: infection prevention, antimicrobial stewardship, healthcare epidemiology, diagnostic stewardship, healthcare worker vaccination, public health policy, and occupational health concerns including blood-borne pathogen exposure prevention. ASHE will welcome submissions ranging from original research, review articles, practical perspectives and education-focused manuscripts. Articles can represent generalizable single-center experiences or multicenter trials with the goal of serving a global audience.

    Asia-Pacific Signal and Information Processing Association (APSIPA) serves as an international forum for signal and information processing researchers across a broad spectrum of research, ranging from traditional modalities of signal processing to emerging areas where either (i) processing reaches higher semantic levels (e.g., from speech recognition to multimodal human behaviour recognition) or (ii) processing is meant to extract information from datasets that are not traditionally considered signals (e.g., mining of Internet or sensor information).

    Biological Imaging provides a single open access forum for important bioimaging research. The journal publishes original reports, reviews and other article types on techniques and methods that use imaging approaches (especially quantitative and computational imaging) at their core and that enable discoveries and advances in biology (from molecular to tissue scales). The scope covers, but is not limited to image acquisition and processing, data mining and analysis, mathematical modelling, microscopy and machine learning. Modalities predominantly used for macroscopic medical imaging (including computerised tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron-emission tomography (PET), ultrasonography (US)) and for which multiple publication venues exist, do not fall in the scope of the journal, unless they are associated with modalities at the microscopy level.

    BJPsych International provides psychiatrists and all mental health professionals with an overview of current policy and practice in psychiatry from a global perspective. Our primary mission is to provide a publication platform for authors from low-and-middle-income countries. Published on behalf of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, the journal is entirely open access. We accept peer-reviewed articles dealing with developments in mental health policy, novel approaches to the management of mental health services, and we promote worldwide training in psychiatry. As the BJPsych International evolves, we intend to highlight more digital content, such as videos and podcasts to accompany our published articles. Regular features include thematic papers exploring topical subjects and Global Echoes, a section dedicated to contributions from trainees and junior doctors. We do not publish original empirical research, but may occasionally accept audits that have clinical implications of international relevance.

    Cambridge Prisms: Global Mental Health (GMH) publishes papers that have a broad application of ‘the global point of view’ of mental health issues. The field of ‘global mental health’ is still emerging, reflecting a movement of advocacy and associated research driven by an agenda to remedy longstanding treatment gaps and disparities in care, access, and capacity. But these efforts and goals are also driving a potential reframing of knowledge in powerful ways, and positioning a new disciplinary approach to mental health. GMH seeks to cultivate and grow this emerging distinct discipline of ‘global mental health’, and the new knowledge and paradigms that should come from it. GMH invites contributions from a range of disciplines, stakeholders, and research methods in order to achieve its aim. The Editors reflect this diversity, with expertise in areas outside of the traditional ‘mental health’ silos that must be included in order to make global mental health truly ‘global’ in nature.
