In this issue of the journal, in the article by Leal et alReference Leal, Heitman, Conly, Henderson and Manns 1 , there is a typographical error on page 1082. In the first paragraph of the Discussion section, the first sentence states:

“Another demonstrated that the use of 1 capsule per day of oral probiotics by all hospitalized adults receiving a therapeutic course of antibiotics resulted in a lower risk of CDAD and cost-savings of $518 per person treated using the perspective of a publicly funded healthcare system.”

The sentence should actually read:

This model demonstrated that the use of 1 capsule per day of oral probiotics by all hospitalized adults receiving a therapeutic course of antibiotics resulted in a lower risk of CDAD and cost-savings of $518 per person treated using the perspective of a publicly funded healthcare system.”

The publisher apologizes to the author and readers for this error.
