Copepod parasites of Psychrolutes (Pisces: Scorpaeniformes) from deep water in the eastern Pacific

Extract

Chondracanthus yanezi Atria and Neobrachiella amphipacifica sp. nov. are described based on material collected from Psychrolutes phrictus Stein and Bond trawled off northern California. N. amphipacifica is also recorded from Psychrolutes sio Nelson trawled off northern Chile. Both host species are deep water forms of Psychrolutes.
