Abstract

In doped nanocrystalline Y203:Tb phosphors the luminescent efficiency was found to increase with the decrease in the particle size from 100 Å to 40 Å. This correlation was obtained from microstructural studies performed using transmission electron microscopy and luminescent measurements.
