Synthesis and Characterization of Soluble Alkyl Substituted Poly(2, 5-Thienylene Vinylenes)

Abstract
Alkyl substituted poly(2, 5-thienylenevinylene)s were produced with a new synthesis. The polymers are soluble and processable and show a strong electrochromic effect in the visible spectral range.
