The redox potential of the couple UO22+ /U4+ has been determined at 25°C in various HC1O4 media by direct potentiometric determinations in 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2 and 3 M HC1O4 media. Some spectrophotometric measurements of the equilibrium: Cu(s) + UO2+ = U4+ + Cu2+ + H2O.
