It is regretted that in the review of Byzantium in JRS XL (1950), 140, by inadvertence the name of H. St. L. B. Moss, the author of part 1 (pp. 1-32) of the Historical Outline is omitted, the whole being attributed to the author of part 11, Charles Diehl.
