Myzostome deformation on arms of the Early Jurassic crinoid Balanocrinus gracilis (Charlesworth)

Abstract

Myzostome galls on arms of the Early Jurassic (Pliensbachian) Balanocrinus gracilis provide the first unequivocal evidence of such parasitic infestation in a post-Paleozoic crinoid.
