Hymenolepis microstoma: oncospheres invade the intestinal tissue of the definitive host

Abstract

Although the normal intermediate hosts of Hymenolepis microstoma are insects, oncospheres invade the intestinal tissue of the definitive hosts, mice, within 30 min after oral egg inoculation.
