2 Manuel Bryennius (if no one earlier) actually twice identifies ἀνϵιμένον ϵἴτουν βαρύτατον.

3 I have dealt with this in Hermes 96 (1968) 69–73. Incidentally, another passage of Thesm. (130 ff.) appears as 1130 both on p. 203 and in the index. Among other misprints or errors, μεγάλος (p. 92 n.) is unfortunate.
