On behalf of the Editor-in-Chief, Dr Mike Ross, our Themed Content Editor, Dr Janna Morrison, and our Guest editors for this issue, Navon Michael, Suresh Anand Sadananthan, Alison Care and Jack Darby ,the Journal of the Developmental Origins of Health and Disease would like to invite submissions to a themed issue entitled ‘Advance Imaging in DOHaD’, based on a workshop to be held at the upcoming international DOHaD conference titled “DOHaD Workshop on Fetal, Placental and Pediatric Imaging”.
“The aim of this issue is to highlight technical advances in imaging technology that have widened the opportunity for a detailed examination for the mechanisms by which the early life environment influences later health and disease. This issue will bring together internationally recognized scientists and clinicians who are currently developing and applying advances imaging techniques to investigate the developmental origins of disease. Submissions will cover advances in fetal and placental imaging, pediatric imaging, neonatal and early childhood adiposity and body fat partitioning and neuroimaging in the context of the DOHaD hypothesis, and more."
All papers will be fully peer reviewed and, if accepted, published in JDOHaD. The deadline for submission is the 31st October 2019.
