Population study of codling moth Cydia (Carpocaps = Laspeyresia) Pomonella L. (Olethreutidae, Lepidoptera) infesting pear orchards in the eastern outskirts of Alexandria, Egypt

Summary
The codling moth, Cydia pomonella L., achieved four successive generations in Egyptian pear orchards in 1974. Indices of infested fruits showed four peaks of infestation; the first at the end of April, the second during the first week of June, the third during the first week of July and the last at the end of July.
