Third World Health Assembly

Delegates and observers from over 63 countries and territories, and observers from other specialized agencies of the United Nations and interested non-governmental organizations attended the Third World Health Assembly, which met in Geneva from May 8 to May 27, 1950. Rajkumari Amrit Kaur, Minister of Health of India, was unanimously elected President of the Assembly, which discussed three main topics: the program for 1951, the budget and other financial questions, and constitutional questions.
