The Cenomanian Compound Coral, Aspidiscus cristatus (Lamarck), from Nezzazat, Western Sinai

Abstract

Aspidiscus cristatus (Lamarck) is recorded from Western Sinai and a full description of the species is given. This includes the first recognition of the calicular pits in the coral, which is thus shown to be a compound form.
