Wave transport in stratified media

Abstract

In this course, I will review the main properties of internal gravity waves, and examine how they can lead to particle and angular momentum transport in stars. I will then present some recent results that have been obtained for angular momentum transport which show that waves are an important ingrediant of stellar modelling.
