Résumé

L'interprétation des diffusions en dehors des taches de Bragg dans une vermiculite saturée par du baryum (d 001 = 12·20 Å) permet de préciser l'organisation de l'espace interlamellaire. Le motif élémentaire est constitué par un groupement Ba-6 H2O où le baryum est engagé dans une cavité ditrigonale et les 6 molécules d'eau sont dans le plan médian, l'ensemble forme une pyramide très aplatie de base hexagonale. La répartition de ces motifs est bipériodique avec une maille 2 a,b centrée en projection. Cette organisation se développe dans des domaines identiques, orientés à 120° les uns des autres.

Abstract

Interpretation of the X-ray scattering outside the Bragg refections in a Bavermiculite (d 001 = 12·20 Å) enables the structure of the interlayer space to be defined precisely. The elementary unit is composed of Ba-6H2O groups where the cation is enclosed in one ditrigonal cavity and the 6H2O molecules are in the central plane of the interlayer space. These groups form very flat pyramids with hexagonal bases. The distribution of these groups shows a two-dimensional ordering which, in projection normal to c*, consists of a plane lattice with a centered unit cell of dimensions 2a,b. This order expands in limited identical domains rotated with respect to each other by 120°.

Se determina la ordenación de cationes y moléculas de agua en el espacio interlaminar de una vermiculita-Ba (d 001 = 12·20 Å) por interpretación de la difusión de rayos-X alrededor de las reflexiones de Bragg. El motivo elemental está formado por un agrupamiento Ba-6H2O en el que el catión Ba2+ está colocado dentro de una cavidad ditrigonal y las 6 moléculas de agua están en el plano medio interlaminar. El conjunto tiene forma de pirámide hexagonal muy aplanada. Los grupos se distribuyen en el espacio interlaminar con orden biperiódico que, en proyección perpendicular a c*, consiste en una red plana con una celdilla unidad centrada de dimensiones 2a–b. Esta ordenación se extiende en dominios limitados idénticos orientados entre sí a 120°.

Eine Interpretation der Röntgenstreuung jenseits der Braggreflexionen in einem Ba-Vermikulit ermöglicht es, die Struktur des Zwischenschichtraumes genauer zu erfassen. Die elementare Einheit ist aus Ba-6 HP2O Gruppen zusammengesetzt, wobei das Kation von einem ditrigonalen Raum umschlossen ist und die 6 H2O Moleküle sich in einer zentralen Ebene der Zwischenschicht befinden. Diese Gruppe bildet flache Pyramiden mit hexagonaler Basis. Die Verteilung dieser Gruppen weist eine zweidimensionale Ordnung auf, welche senkrecht zu c* projiziert aus einem Schichtgitter mit einer zentrierten Einheitszelle der Dimensionen 2a,b besteht. Diese Anordnung expandiert in begrenzten identischen Domänen, wobei diese um 120° gegeneinander verdreht sind.
