In the Canadia Entomologist, 1899, p. 293, ff., Mr. Ashmead has divided, first Aphilanthops into Clypeadon, Patton, and Aphilanthops, Patton, and secondly Plilanthus into Epiphilanthus, Pseudanthophilus, Anthophilus, and Philanthus.
