A NEW SPECIES OF MIDEOPSIS (NUDOMIDEOPSIS) (ACARI: PARASITENGONA: MIDEOPSIDAE) FROM NORTH AMERICA

Abstract

Male and female adults of Mideopsis (Nudomideopsis) magnacetabula n. sp. are described. This is the first species of this subgenus described from the New World, and knowledge of the new species necessitates modification of the subgeneric concept.
