A CANADIAN SPECIES OF SUSANA ON WESTERN JUNIPER (HYMENOPTERA: TENTHREDINIDAE)

Abstract

Female and larva of the new sawfly Susana fuscala are described and illustrated, based on specimens collected in British Columbia. The new species, feeding on the foliage of Juniperus scopulorum Sargent, is separated from the other six Nearctic species.
