Antioxidants and fertility

In a nutshell
Infertility and the conditions that contribute to it are associated with a pro-oxidant state.
Antioxidants are used to protect fertility in veterinary practice. Dozens of human clinical trials of variable quality suggest, but do not yet prove, that antioxidants (such as vitamins C and E, selenium, carnitine and co-Q10), may have a role in treatment of infertility, particularly in men.
