Summary
As described in previous chapters, interreligious engagement happens all over the place. We now turn to orchestrated projects to cultivate relationship and understanding among people with differing lifestances, using various modalities. Part III of the book discusses projects that focus on a) dialogue; b) study and spiritual encounter; c) community-based service, organizing, and advocacy; and d) utilizing the arts. Before detailing each in a subsequent chapter, however, we discuss common objectives and core practices for shaping these diverse modes of interreligious engagement.
